I am trying to output to my TV, and everything works fine except once problem; there is no color. Everything is in black and white. I am using the same things that I did for my Voodoo 3 3000. The only difference is that now I am running XP instead of win2k. I tested it on boot up and even with the monitor unpluged, the s-video output is still B&W. Any suggestions?

you downloaded the wrong driver?
You need the driver for winxp.
I had the b/w problem last time with the wrong driver too.

I have the latest detenator driver, but I still get a B&W output. its also isnt the TV, I just tested another one and get the same thing (aslo used a different s-video to composite converter)... aslo, intresting to note, its not just no color in the OS (which would mean driver), but its no color at all. Even my BIOS logo is b&w on boot up instead of red. Is there any setting in the BIOS I could check?

have you an up to date TV ?
you can lost the color on some "old" tv which can't detect the color video signal of computers modern video hardware.

you can try also another test. it's to use your composite instead of your svideo.

but i think your pb is the first one because you update an "old" video card by an up to date video card.

if you know you don't know, the way could be more easy.

this is a detail. lol

i just told you B&W can be result from an not up to date TV because of its not up to date tuner. lol
hehe.
