I am looking to pick up a laptop for my wife that will be fully capable of running World of Warcraft, would the following laptop be a good choice? My budget is right around 1k but if I could find something comparable for a better deal that would be great also.

That laptop looks pretty good, although I don't think you can run WoW on Ultra settings without lag. You might be able to play on High but I'm also not sure about that. The only problem with this laptop is that it has a GeForce GT instead of a GeForce GTX. For gaming, a GTX 260 or higher is recommend. Personally I give this laptop a 8.5/10 for WoW.

I am in San Pedro, CA 90731 and if you want a "Brand New-Factory Sealed" ASUS G75VW-DS71 (along with copy of receipt from Office Depot/Tech Depot who are an Authorized ASUS Dealer and delivery confirmation) for $1216.09 plus shipping- I prefer local buyers- please let me know
