I see the 680s, 670's etc, I'm wondering if anything new is coming on soon or next spring? Im debating to jump into Kepler; perhaps SLI. I hear the 670 is good for SLI? Is SLI worth it with a 24" monitor at 1920x1080?

The next Architecture won't be out until 2014. 700 series will be out This spring and will just be a "revision" of GK (Geforce Kepler). I would just jump on a 600 series card. I can't actually give what kind of numbers your gonna get with the 700 series but it will be little improvement in performance. the main thing the 700 series will be is more power efficient

Even more power efficient? I thought the GK110's will be a bigger chip and use more power...

The GK110 is for Tesla. There won't be a GK110 in the Geforce flavor.... and btw the GK110 comes in Dual GPU and Single GPU. so it can't help but use a ton of power since its a high computing chip...

There have been rumors that the GTX 780, or even the GTX 770, will be using the GK110 core. http://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-700-series-specifications-detailed-gtx-780-based-gk110-gk114-power-gtx-760-ti/

AND you have base facts from NVIDIA? No. So.... its all speculation for now... Trust me dude. I can't speak for what will be what because everything is under NDA at the moment but.... Right now don't read or believe every rumor until maybe January. I remember when the 600 series came out. Everything was speculation until 3 weeks to a month before launch

I was thinking of waiting for the 700's to jump into PCIe 3.0 and possibly SLI but perhaps the 600s will go down in price soon. I thought from now, the new cards are coming soon and go for new but this is like a constant record playing trying to get the next best thing.

Is SLI worth it with a 24" monitor at 1920x1080? I thought I read micro shuttering is a issue past this screen size.

I think a single GPU can do 1080p. Keep in mind im refering to a single high end GPU. I'm only doing one 670 with Ivy bridge so i get PCI Express 3.0. But to be honest. nothing utilizes 3.0 except maybe 1 690
