More about would build work
  1. Get the Intel core i5 2500k or 3570k not i3
  2. I am stuck with the i3 for now, but would this build work effectively to max games like Dota 2, LoL, and Diablo 3?
  3. You want to get a quad core processor for games.
I would say drop the SSD for now and get a better processor and graphic card.
They will help games more then the SSD.
