Computer HDMI connection to TV not working

Hey all, any help would be greatly appreciated. I was using my TV as a monitor for my computer via an HDMI cable. It worked great but then suddenly stopped working, I am fiddled with the settings when I was trying to get it to get back to normal display on my computer. Ordinarily, when I would plug the cable in to the tv, the tv would display the computer and would get a sound saying that my computer found a new device. Then it just suddenly stopped working. Any help would be great.

You'll want to check if the cable is still working or not. Do you have another device you know works that you can test the cable with? Or another TV or PC to check it on?

That will help narrow down the issue.
