More about 7850 hd7850 stock
  1. The amount of VRAM I suspect wont be an issue at those resolutions.
Get the 2GB model and overclock it yourself.
  2. +1 or the hd 7850 2gb
  3. HD 7850 is overclocking beast. So get one with 2 GB and OC it.
  4. Agreed. More Ram is always better, When it comes to video cards especially. The new norm will soon be at least 2 GB. When i jumped from 1-2 GB i didn't notice a huge boost in FPS, but i noticed i could handle more additional features, ie: AA and maxed every detail

It allows more room to keep the card longer without the need to purchase a newer one.

    3 GB would be overkill
2 is currently the sweet spot from a 6950 or higher.

The one to see go on sale is the 7950, That would be just excellent... If it dropped to 250 one day i would have no issue getting it.

Expect the 8870 to be awesome as well.
  5. im getting a v75 chipset or h61 mobo cant decide yet will i be able to overclock on those
  6. I thinkg that overclock is disabled on h61 motherboards.

Those resolutions wont really require 2Gb, but there is no reason to not get it for the future proofing aspect.
