SSD + HDD DUAL BOOT (ON SEPARATE DRIVES)

I'd like to set up a system for dual boot function using two separate drives (in the same system) My intnent is to have the primary one SSD (running windows 7) and the other a HDD (running either XP or Linux)

Anyone have a newbie guide to get this thing done?? .. i'm pretty sure im not the first person to wonder about this.

Any help would be mucho appreciated.

Thanks

simply plug your stat cable only into your secondary drive, install linux/xp, then plug in sata for ssd while leaving the other one in, when done if you installed xp, on boot it will ask you to boot to xp or 7 and you can choose, however if you chose linux you will have to manually boot to your other hard drive using the F11 key during boot up.
