Cities in Motion (Graphic Card)

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know which are the CHEAPEST Graphic Cards good enough to run Cities In Motion.

I'd like to play this game, but I don't want to spend a lot of money with Graphic Card, and systemrequirementslab.com just says: You need GeForce 8800GT or better to run it.

Then, as I don't know much about GC, can anyone just post a list with Graphic Cards better than 8800? It can be ATi as well.

Many thanks!

There's a hierarchy list where you can see where your 8800GT stands in relation to all other graphics cards regarding performance:

If you don't play a lot of demanding games, something like a 7750 or 7770 would do you fine. Or if you prefer to go Nvidia, a GTX 650 is roughly similar there, although I personally recommend the ATI alternative since they seem slightly more future proof (not that it matters much with such low-end cards).

Thank you very much for your answer! :)

You helped me a lot with this information. Now I have a start point to choose my graphic card.

Another question is: Can I trust information on this site: http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=1198&ca... ?

It says with a NVidia GT 430 I can run Cities In Motion and other very demanding games in medium resolution and COD Black OPS can be plyed at full resolution.

Thank you for your help! ;)

Actually, I found a much better card. Get the following Radeon HD 7750 for $60 after rebate. It is much more powerful than the Radeon HD 6670. I would say it about equal to the Radeon HD 6770 which is around 35% - 40% more powerful than the HD 6670.

It also has free shipping so the actual price difference versus the other card I recommended is $3. $3 for that much of a performance increase is mere peanuts...

Thank you man!

I live in Brazil, and EVERYTHING related to Graphic Cards here are quite expensive. Those GC cited by you, are twice the price I want to pay for a video card here. I'd like to know, if a GT520 DDR3 1GB can at least run Cities In Motion and other games like Counter-Strike:GO with medium graphics. I'm not a gamer and a Graphic card with can run SimCity, CS or other simple games are alright for me. :)

Sorry for asking a lot of things, but when you live in a country like Brazil, where taxes are more than 50% of the product, you understand why is difficult to get a Video Card only to play a few games.

Thanks!
