Keyboard goes offline

installing new windows and when I get to the part where I have to type my name in as well as PC name my keyboard is off. IT will be lit up and on for the normal boot up process but then dead when I need to use it. Logitech g15. I also have the logitech g13 game pad and that works just fine...but I cannot type with it.

any ideas?

Are you pluging it into the front panel of your case or directly into your motherboard? Try changing up the sockets that you plug it into?
