Hi I will buy new hardware and I already have the CPU (3770k) I want to know what's the best on the market for my budget (around $380) for MB, RAM and CPU Cooler.
I will use it for playing mainly but I also do a little video and image work (photoshop mainly)
I prefer the MB to be a Gigabyte and I'm thinking 8Gb RAM, I will overclock but nothing to serious.
Waiting for your answers
thank you in advance
Omar

MB: Gigabyte GA-Z77(add an X here for a slightly better motherboard)-D3H

RAM: Company doesn't matter, but if you are working with videos and images get RAM with a low CAS Latency (7 or 8 will be fine) I would get 8GB.

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Those parts are the best value for money, and then you have spare $ to get a good GPU :) .

Ill vouch for the ASrockZ77 Extreme 4. The Gigabyte board that i had GA-Z77X-UD3H with my 3770K would not boot with my ram set at 1600Mhz. i replaced it with the ASrock board and had no plrblems. addationaly the GA-Z77X-UD3H does not have enough shadow memory to run RAID on two cards. i know you prefered a Gigabyte board but the one i had will prevent me form ever buying another.

The Motherboard - Gigabyte Z77X-D3H

Ever since Intel’s introduction of the Z77 chipset, motherboard giant Gigabyte has made huge leaps in in improvements on their motherboards all the way from the budget end to the extreme high end and the Z77X-D3H is a perfect example of what kind of top quality products can be achieved.

With support for PCIe 3.0, SATA 3 6Gb/s, 8 channel integrated audio, Gigabyte’s fully digital power delivery system, and ultra durable 4 features, it’s got a lot going for it.

That said, navalweaponsofficer has had issues i never have so i think it just must of been bad luck.
