Recording bottleneck? Tags: Graphics Cards Bottleneck Hard Drives Graphics Last response: November 23, 2012 3:41 AM in Graphics & Displays Share rewben2 November 22, 2012 12:12:08 AM My system is: i3 530 @ 3ghz, 2 5770's (crossfire of course), 1tb 7200rpm hdd (dunno cache) and 4gb 1333mhz ram. When I record league of legends with fraps (fullsize), I get brutal fps drops even on lowest settings. I can record half size staying at 100~ fps easy, but recording fullsize is unbearable. What is the bottleneck? Is it my hard drive capacities? Will getting an ssd help solve the problem? THANKS.
