Have no clue what is wrong

Yes i have a HPCompaq DC7800 CMT PC ALL

Running windows 7 32bit
4GB ram
Intel core 2 Duo 2.33GHz
250GB HDD
Nvidia Geforce 9400GT 1024MB video ram

This started 2 days ago when i was playing DAYZ arma 2 mod my computer shut down i checked my drivers and had to update my graphics card drives...Worked fine for a day or so and then poof happened again my computer shut down on me...checked my drivers again..all up to date so i am at a loss on what could be causing this...Any help would be great thanks!

Try downloading Speedfan, play for a few minutes and see what your temps are like. Your PC is not exactly a gaming computer, and it might just be overheating from being overworked.. I assume you're playing on the lowest detail settings in the game?

i have speed fan all reports are with in threshold limits...

that happened to me on dayz also. i was running it on high when it happened. after i turned it down to medium and it was fine. try lowering your settings

Could be the PSU showing signs of giving out, or an overheating problem. Take the side off the case and blow all the dust out of it, thoroughly.

are you playing the games on high setting? that is a weak GPU you have. it could be the gpu is giving up. happened to me once my gpu overheated and got fried. open your case up and dust it clean the Gpu fan, and play your games on lower settings see if it makes a difference ...hope this helps.
