hey,
i have a hp pavillion dv6-3177ee laptop and i am connecting a second monitor to it "vga port" that is "Samsung syncmaster S19A100N" and it worked like a charm.
But, yesterday i bought a third monitor that is the "Samsung Syncmaster S24A350H" "connected via hdmi".
i connected it and i was surprised that i can only work with only 2 monitors i cant enable 3 it the resolution adjustment the 3rd monitors is disabled. i can only enable any 2 monitors but not 3 and this is bad bec i have the ATI mobility radeon hd 5650 and it supports eyefinity. so i need help i want to know how to enable the 3rd monitor.

I was having this exact same problem, you can't use three legacy connections such as HDMI, DVI or VGA a true displayport connection is required, so either use a displayport cable if your laptop supports it or get an active adapter.
