Why is the words at the top and bottom of my screen getting cut off on my guild

i'm trying to help my mom out she plays Guild Wars 2 i don't know much about computers but i canget by and lern quick. when she logs on to her game the top of the screen and the words at the bottom get cut off for ex the logout words u can only see the top half of the words i'm not sure if there is a setting we need to fix or what plz help

Try changing the resolution in settings.
