why are there no AMD mobos that run RD ram ?

because their ratio performances/price is rather bad.

Because RDRAM would slow down AMD systems. The current FSB on AMD systems is still unable to make use of all the bandwidth of dual-channel RDRAM and it will suffer the long latency inherit to RDRAM.
