Which way should I go for best quality to run games like skyrim?

Yes at anytime. U can always add another 7970 down the road and CF . That easily beats the SLI 560 Ti.

560 ti is a old gen card.Why spend money on it when u can get a Powerful card.

So get that 7970. No disscusion

Take a good look at that anand link again. Yes it's a single GTX560TI, but notice something. Even if SLI gave you perfect 100% scaling it will usually be just a bit faster then the 7970 at 1080/1200. For example in Crysis warhead even if you doubled the 29.7FPS the single GTX560TI got, it would still be only ~5FPS faster then the 7970. You won't get 100% scaling. Might as well get the single 7970 and avoid the multi card headaches.

That's against a single 560ti. (Of course a single 560ti loses)

This is more in line with the OP's question: (GTX 560 Ti 2Win is two 560ti's on a single card, in SLI)

Now if the price is close, the single card is probably the safe bet.

However 560ti, in SLI actually does a little better than the single 7970 in these tests.
