intel pentium dual core e5700 3.0ghz
Asus p5g41mlx3 (PCI-E 1.1)
4gb ram ddr3 1333 (are they running at 1333? my cpu fsb is at 800)
Lastest Nvidia drivers (beta 310.61..tried also 306.97)

I'm playing at 1366x768 resolution

Anyway I installed NFS most wanted 2012/The run/ dirt 3 and Race driver Grid.
On most wanted 2012 i get low fps on lowest settings(average 30-40..goes under 30 when trying to record most of the time). Tried reducing also the resolution but there is no fps difference. I can play this game fine on lowest settings but i'm supposed to get always 60fps with this card right?
On NFS the run i get fps under 30 always(18-28)...I'ts almost like slow motion...constant 30fps when i'm alone on the road. It's locked at 30 fps since it wont go over that cap..I turned off vsync from ingame settings but nothing happens. Lowest settings.
However i'm able to play GRID and Dirt 3 on High settings with decent fps(40-50)..I'm able to record videos reducing the quality settings a little)
SO i thought this is the game's problem..but then i saw this video with e5700+gt440 playing and recording most wanted 2012 just fine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jemEtQxas18
Same CPU and a weaker card than mine..
Then i thought it's the pci-e slot but i found this.. http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2219975
There is no big difference
And this guy play and record nfs the run just fine with g31mobo+e5700+9800gt
I'm really confused
I think i'm supposed to get higher fps in dirt 3 and grid too

Your PSU could also be something to consider, you didn't mention it? I know your rig isn't in a big need of watt, but if your PSU isn't providing enough watt for your components, then the performance will drop.

You did mention your pci-e slot, that could also be a problem. Find a manual of your MOBO and check if it's rightfully installed in the right slot. Your CPU is okay compared to your GPU, but it could be a problem aswell to newer games.

If you know anyone with a better rig, then ask if you can try to put you GPU into their rig, so you can check if the GPU is okay.

I hope this helped, mate. Good luck! :)

Only 44% usage? Seems like the problem.

It seems like your PSU is the problem. A low quality PSU that probably is only able to output like 200w or so is throttling your GPU. Get the Antec VP450. Efficient, only $40 or slow.

The pci-e slot does mean a drop in fps, but not by a margain. As I mentioned before and as Samuel just mentioned, then the PSU might seem to be the problem.

Played GRID now on highest settings with 16XQCSAA against 11 opponents with average 40 fps. (i tried to check gpuz while playing pressing alt+tab(since this game doesn't have window mode) and i saw gpu load 70% but it went to 0% in an instant..
I guess it was over 70% while playing.

I just remembered that the electricity company give us low power most of the time(i have a 40w yellow light bulb in my room..that's how i discovered this..whenever the power is low the bulb emits low light..Cheap bastards!!!)
That must be the problem probably..psu is not getting enough power from the electricity company

PSU might be the problem. If you got a friend, as I said, who got a better gaming rig than you, then ask you if you can try to install it in his machine and see if the performance is different, then you might get a better clue of the problem.
