Here are my specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom 2 X6 1090T
MB: 870-G45 (MS 7599)
RAM: 4x4 DDR3 1600 Corsair
PSU: OCZ 700 watt Modxstream pro

I'm not sure if it will even physically fit let alone run smoothly. Any advice is appreciated.

why wouldn't it work?

your cpu will handle it fine.
your motherboard has a x16 slot that is running @x16. (with another @x4 mode)
your psu will handle two cards.

so unless you have something flonky going on with your case, *like a hard drive rack in the way of motherboard connections, you're fine.

* a hacksaw will fix that!
