Hi guys, upgrading my motherboard and CPU. Taking advantage of the local Microcenters low i5 price, and $40 bundle discount. At any rate, I'm picking up an i5-3570 and am curious which motherboard I should pair it with. I will be overclocking, but nothing extreme or to the processors limits. Something solid and stable in the 4's. These are the 4 options I'll be picking from.

Which do you recommend?

MSI Z77A-G45 Socket 1155 ATX Motherboard - $109

ASRock Z77 Pro4 LGA 1155 ATX Intel Motherboard - $109

ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Intel Z77 - $120

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Z77 ATX - $135

GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 - $135

I'm leaning toward spending the extra money and going with the Asrock Extreme4. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I forgot to add that I run a single EVGA GTX 670 FTW, use this strictly for gaming, and will never SLI or xfire.

Go for the Asrock Extreme 4 or the Gigabyte D3H.

OK don't get me wrong, I own this board and love it... BUT my ASmedia USB 3 controller driver keeps dying on me, so I end up not being able to use some of the USB3 ports.

Still can't figure out why. Just thought I would put it out there...

About to flash my BIOS with beta drivers. If that fixes the issue, I will let you know.

Yeah and I am not the only one experiencing it. Give it a google.
Must admit I am VERY annoyed with this. It seems even my USB 3 port that ARE working(Intel Chipset) are underperforming.

I cant recommend the Pro series of ASrock, they see to have not so good condensators on the motherboard, they are less than average.

Price wise, it might be intresting to go for a msi g43 or g45.

Gigabyte z77-d3h is a great board, with pretty good OC potential
