Hey all!

So i was trying to get my ps3 controller to work with my win 7 x64, installing some USB drivers.. when i rebooted, windows would immediately de-power all USB. nothing will even charge.. even in safe mode. I tried last known good config and nothin..

the devices work is BIOS and system recovery (win 7 cd in)

any advice is appreciated :)

check your device manager more than likely your usb controller had a driver error from an update that go processed. if thats not the case then uninstall all the drivers for the usb hardware you have installed and then go from there

You guys dont understand complexity of situation. No USB works once Windows starts to initialize.. Cant get to device manager, cant login. No keyboard/mouse.

Not tryin to fix the PS3 drivers, trying to get USB to even power my accessories and get mouse and keyboard working!!

One PS/2 slot for keyboard, I dont have one with me, but if my PS/2 adapter to USB wireless keyboard still nothin.

evga x58 - win 7 x64

tried reinstalling chipset drivers but unable due to limits of command prompt from win 7 CD. chipset drivers are in .exe
