Nailing icons to desktop on Windows 7

I am unable to nail the icons to the desktop in Windows 7. Help. Sondra

You just need a bigger hammer.


Right click > Send To > Desktop ( Create Shortcut ).

@ Sondra: If you dont like your icons moving on you... arrange them how you like, then go to start, shutdown.... but hold shift while you click shutdown. this will force the PC to remember the icon positions.
