Upgrading to 16GBs of memory, is it worth it?

hey guys,
i currently have 8Gbs of corsair 1600's memory in my system, which also includes a 7850@1100MHZ and an i5-3570, would upgrading to 16GBs of memory increase gaming performance at all?

not a single FPS boost :)  8 gb is plenty for games
save your money for upcoming radeon and nvidia card

It may increase a Little performance in Software work
But not in Gaming.

that is a good idea, a new card in a years time, or maybe even crossfire the one i have...

lol, modern games consumes 4-5GB at the most
btw ram is now dirt cheap... if you have no problem spending on it, go get it
but dont expect any increase in game
