    fixed everything

    -x79 is not for gaming
    -i7s are not for gaming
    -660s are weak compared to a 670
-you dont need 16gb of ram
-dont use a crappy power supply
    -cooler master makes bad fans
-dont use stock coolers. they suck

note. the heatsink will work with the motherboard and CPU once you go to and get customer service to send you over a free 1155 mounting kit
  2. id get this monitor. if samsung is cheaper, get that instead
  3. Thanks very much. It's much appreciated. I think I will go with the Asus monitor. What do you think my beginning build was suitable for? Or was it pretty useless?
