Hey everyone.

This is my first computer build. I will probably be using it for mostly gaming. Comments welcome.

fixed everything

-x79 is not for gaming
-i7s are not for gaming
-660s are weak compared to a 670
-you dont need 16gb of ram
-dont use a crappy power supply
-cooler master makes bad fans
-dont use stock coolers. they suck

note. the heatsink will work with the motherboard and CPU once you go to noctua.at and get customer service to send you over a free 1155 mounting kit

id get this monitor. if samsung is cheaper, get that instead

Thanks very much. It's much appreciated. I think I will go with the Asus monitor. What do you think my beginning build was suitable for? Or was it pretty useless?

you build is suitable for video editing and workstation usage but not really given a i7 3770k can perform better than the 3820

What about compatibility? Is everything ok? Because I ran it through a compatibility checker but would like to gain more knowledge. Btw I like your build. Probs gonna go with it.
