Will this crossfire setup work?

I want to hook up my two HD 7950's in crossfire with this mobo. Will it work? And will the cpu bottleneck them? I will be water cooling the two cards as well. Thanks!

Yes an APU will sure as hell bottleneck 2 GPUs, why are you doing ti this way? Why do you want Xfire?

Its pointless getting an APU if you are gonna use discrete graphics.

Just get an i5 ivy bridge + H77/Z77 with crossfire support.

Are you trolling ?...it's a low budget all-in one quad-core even the x4 965 black will beat that cpu, now imagine a intel i5-3570k...
Its a really no brainer...

it has two pci express slots (one is 3.0 and one is 2.0) but the 2.0 one is x4. Would this slow one of the cards down?

I have the 990fx asrock fatal1ty and I love it, so this shouldn't be much different.

Would crossfire work on this? and which cpu do you recommend. I want something that is cheap but good for gaming.

Its only 4 cores. And that does not mean it will not bottleneck. You ned individual fast cores too.
