i just built my sister a computer this weekend, duron 900, msi nforce mobo, 256 meg crucial ddr. the problem im having with it is the power read out for 3.3 volt reads 4 volts, is this a seriouse problem? its a pretty generic power supply. all the other volatages are good though.

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.

That's serious, if the reading are correct, you can fry your mobo with that.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

that power supply has been used in 2 other computers now, they all are fine, i will probly replace that psu as soon as payday comes. is it wise to leave the computer off till i can replace it or would the damage already be done, if there was going to be any. i notice in msi's system checker thing, the 4 volts is just barely in the red zone.
