I need a new Graphics Card.

hello, i'm looking for a new graphics card. i have a dell inspiron 620
it is a short computer, but it is fat. so i believe that it can hold the full size graphics cards.

it is currently running intel hd 2000
which sucks. horrible graphics.

it only has a 300 watt power supply, i will upgrade if i need to, but if not it would be great.

my price range is about 200, including the new power supply.
if anyone could help me pick, it would be greatly appreciated. i have no idea what i'm looking for.
i want to be able to play Planetside 2 with decent graphics (i already have the CPU and RAM that i need.)

thanks so much, in advance!

  1. without requiring a power connection, the 7750 would be a decent fit.

if you want more, you'd most likely have to swap in a new power supply, which i would recommend doing before purchasing a video card. this way you can be sure your case can take a standard power supply.
  2. With 200 $ :

    Video Card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202004

    PSU : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139026

You'll have a decent psu and a great card, much better card than a 7750.
You'll get a massive gain of performance compared with the intel hd 2000, you'll laugh at the difference.
  3. That card is out of stock. :(

You could get away with a 7770 and the recommended above power supply if you don't want to spend too much money.
  4. It seems so...updated the 7850 card in the link.
