Having problems with my PCI ethernet controller, lost my windows 98 CD-rom
and need protman.dos anyone know how or were I can get it ???

that would have been my first port of call had it not been installed by a
friend who I now live 60mile away from and haen't been able to get in touch
recently. Other ideas?

because I can't get on-line access from the PC the mystery card is fitted in

It is a scratch built PC I'm looking for some sort of generic download that
will allow me on-line so I can update to a more appropriate one. Although I
appriciate your intrest in helping, basic baby steps are not needed, thank
you. But if you have more specific advise I'm all ears.

just do a search on google protman.dos is freely available for download
at many sites

I didn't build it which is halve the problem, and after many hrs of serching
the best options seems to be buying a new one, thanxz anyway
