i got a tsunami dj-4100 and its drivers are compatible with dos,95,98,ME,2000,NT4.0 and linux but it doesnt say ithas xp compatibility and i cant seem to find any driver updates

You might be able to use the 2000 drivers with XP in compatability mode.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

It is my opinion that XP is very picky with soundcards. I tried to install a nonXP ready board and never heard a peep out of it. You can try using the 2000 drivers, but it still may not work and may corrupt your OS.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
