[nvidia] zotac 650 psu requirements??

i am thinking of getting a zotac 650 (not IT) as a upgrade from my new but terrible 8400 gs that i foolishly got from frys today for my inspiron 530(psu: 350w)

On newegg they state that the required psu was 350W

but on the physical box it said 400w!

which is right? :??:
AND WHY ARE THEY NOT THE SAME?!?!?!?!?!? :fou:

Thanks :bounce:

More about nvidia zotac requirements
  1. 1.Give me your PC specs
2.You probably gona need new PSU but lets see give me your specs
  2. stock 350w dell PSU
    4GB @ 800MHz
    Q6600 @ 2.4Ghz
stock dell mobo for inspiron 530 original case and dvd rom drive and HD
with 2 maxtor 500GB HD's(yes before they were bought by seagate)
    stock intel heatsink
plus i us a Razer Megalodon on it
  3. With that psu only the 7750 like this one : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125417
It's the same price. And the reason is cause that psu doesn't have a pci-e 6 pin connector (100 % sure) and the 650 needs one, the 7750 doesn't need external power.
Not much of a loss of performance to be honest, the 7750 has the same performance as the 650 the only thing bad is the game offered.
Unless you want to cough up some dough and buy a new psu.
  4. nice; similar performance and its a HUGE step up from a 8400gs

Thanks and it still comes with a free game sweet(not ACIII :'( )
  5. Yeah, doesn't have ACIII but two worlds 2 ain't a bad game for a rpg.
