Is this the best for the money?

Case: NZXT Guardian $70
MOBO: ASRock Z77 Extreme4 $130
GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7870 $240
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K $230
PSU: CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W $90

The only reason I went with that mobo is because I may want to upgrade the system later, or else I would have gone with a cheaper one. Also is 650w enough for this system if I want to overclock? And I just want to make sure that this build (if it is the best build for the money) can run any game to date on at least medium quality. Thanks.

  1. You would play at Ultra easily. ;)
But I would recommend you a Better brand. Because Gigabyte ones have Voltage Lock (No overclocking).

And that PSU is more than enough. But its good to be future-proof.
  2. +1 All looks good to me
  3. Yes. That would be fine, but for me,

    1. I'll change the case, there are a lot of better case there (price/performance) like Cooler Master Storm Enforcer or Antec Three Hundred Illusion, Corsair 300R/400R.

    2. With a single GPU, you could even lower that PSU to even 500w. But for me, I'll go with a 550/600w.

    3. if you could stretch out your budget for a $30 more, I'll change that video card with a 660ti. But I prefer a 7950, but it is for $40 more.

    4. Don't forget a cooler since you'll be overclocking. A hyper 212 evo will do.

    Thanks for the reply.
What brand would you suggest XFX, HIS or some other model? The XFX and HIS core clock (no idea what that does) both run 100MHz slower than the Gigabyte, would they still be better?
