How does this build look to you builders.

Note - I already have a hard drive and OS.

I will be playing all modern games at 1920x1080.

If there anything there you can recommend better or cheaper that will be good.

On this high of a budget, make sure you get 8gb of dual channel RAM. Like this: http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/part/gskill-memory-f312800cl...

Why duel channel?

I noticed on the motherboard specs it says memory duel channel. My friend has quad memory sticks so 4 of sticks and it works fine?

Don"t use just one stick of ram, you lose half of your memory bandwidth.. get 2x4GB
January 9, 2013 1:34:07 PM

single channel ram is slow compared to dual channel. You have 1 stick of 4gb listed.

Yes seasonic is one of the best brands.

Is this good, also should I stick with 2x4 or should I get 4 sticks of ram that = to 8GB?
January 9, 2013 1:37:38 PM

Just get 2x4gb. I don't like the ram you listed because of the tall heat spreader and chance to interfere with a cpu cooler. Get the ones I listed.
January 9, 2013 1:38:37 PM

^ That RAM is good

He's buying an H100i. Tall heat spreader are no problem

Yes, I know they will fit because my friend has them with the H100.

Is there anything you would change to make things cheaper?

Will it play games like BF3 on max at 1920x1080?
January 9, 2013 1:49:25 PM

when buying an h100i also buy 2 sp120 fans separately and use the 7v adapters on them. the *sp120s*that come with the h100i make a terrible motor wine even after an update to corsair link that was supposed to fix it and they also vibrate quite a bit at high speed. Along with that the real sp120s are quieter and deliver about 5c better temps, and as others have said a 550-600w psu will do you better unless your planing to run a sli in the future.the ram you picked is fine but as some have said low profile is better incase you do need to air cool again one day.Other than that it looks good to me.

There's quite a few things I would change but I'll just nitpick on the motherboard.

Maybe I wouldn't get the MPower, I'll settle on the MSI Z77A-GD55, what I consider to be the best sub $150 motherboard. However, if you really like the MPower, it's a solid choice as well.

BF3 max at 1080p is no problem. The GTX670 is a great card.

It should have no problem with BF3 max settings.

Okay.

My last question is the case, I want a case that has 120m fans on the front not 200m.

Like this

http://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-vengeance-c70-hi...

But I want a side panel that is clear not with side fans mounts. Any ideas?

You will just have to go through websites until you find one that you like.

Fractal Design Define R4. There's windowed version as well
January 9, 2013 2:05:18 PM

Just know if you do go with a define r4 the fitting for an h100i is going to be quite tight.

Don't like the top of them, they don't look very fan optimized

They are air cooler optimized cases though.

I guess NZXT Switch 810 could suit your needs...

That is nice, £134 thought. A lot of money haha!

your case isn't something you want to skimp on with your pc, it is the only part that is actually future proof because all you new hardware can always go in it. if you buy a highend one that supports everything now you wont need to buy one later when you need one.

I would get the Switch 810. While I don't really like the Switch 810 looks & design, and I love corsair cases, the vengeance C70 is actually not a good performer. On the other hand, the Switch 810 is bigger and offers more customizability.

Really? didn't know that.

Okay so it's the c70 or nzxt switch 810. I just noticed the NZXT ones are full towers, but this one looks good as well
http://www.amazon.co.uk/NZXT-Phantom-USB-Tower-Chassis/...

A lot of fans on that one though.
January 9, 2013 3:38:06 PM

If you want it go get it. It's hard recommending a case because not it's a subjective thing.
