After looking through device manager on my PC, I noticed that the standard VGA graphics adapter had a caution sign on it. When I look into the properties of it, it simply says: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" under the device status. Its location is: PCI bus 0, device 2, function 0. I am using a discrete graphics card as well.
If you loaded the drivers for the discrete adapter properly that device should not even be there. Make sure you have the latest drivers loaded. Then try deleting the standard VGA device and re-boot. Tell us what it does then.
Never mind, I fixed the error. By installing a new driver from windows update, the standard VGA adapter now appears as the HD graphics it should of been, which makes sense as I am using Lucid Virtu MVP.
