new firewire on 6600 doesn't work w/ PC suite

my 6600 suddenly hanged and could not startup thereafter..
I bought it to nokia for repair and they said there's sth wrong w/ the
fireware and did the upgrade for me.

Assuming i can do "restore" from my PC Suite, I just let them erase all the
data on my 6600 (i got no choice anyway), and now, when I m trying to do
"restore", seems it's not as easy as I imagined...there's many "error"
prompts coming up and I just selected "skip" all the time..the restore has
started for some 3 hrs..and there'r over 20 prompts popped so far..
I wonder how long this has to go..and why nokia has made such a mess..

anybody can help??
