Choosing a 3D monitor.

Where do I get started in finding a 3D monitor? Will any monitor that can do 120 Hz work with Nvidia's 3D? or does it have to be a special monitor? It seems to me any true 120 Hz monitor will work, but I really don't know.

I've done a lot of research online, but it's still not clear what I need to do.
