HELP my new pc build wont boot

Hello,
i built my new pc build it is more or less just like the one in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikeHHvGiAZU&feature=yout...
the mouse and keyboard are detected so do all the fans but when i boot with the the monitor dosent turn on and when i boot with the graphics card it gives me the message <<reboot and select proper boot device>>thanks for your help
