HELP my new pc build wont boot

Hello,
i built my new pc build it is more or less just like the one in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikeHHvGiAZU&feature=youtu.be
the mouse and keyboard are detected so do all the fans but when i boot with the the monitor dosent turn on and when i boot with the graphics card it gives me the message <<reboot and select proper boot device>>thanks for your help

that's a normal message. boot off the windows dvd or whatever os and install it. depending on the motherboard if you hit something like F11 or F12 while its posting you can get a list of boot devices. or you can move the dvd drive to the first boot device in bios.
