Hello,

Well I got this build atm:

CPU: Phenom II x4 965 @3.4 ghz
GPU: 570 gtx evga
RAM: 2x4gb generic ram 1333mhz
PSU: Cooler Master silent pro 1000w
SSD: Crucial M4 126gb
Hard Drive: 2tb
SC: Titanium X-FI

Been with this build for 2 years, and was thinking of replacing the Motherboard+CPU+RAM...and though of this:

RAM:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345

CPU:

Core i5 3450 better than Core i5 3570k if... I don't plan on overclocking? Also if I'm getting the 3450 I should be getting an H77 chipset and if I go the 3570k route I should get an Z77 to overclock but if I'm not overclocking...H77 enough?

GPU: 670 gtx

Any input?

Ths for answering.

Yeah looks like the 3450 and a H77 will do the trick... but will I see a difference in gaming based on the upgrade?

I think I will see a big change when I get the 670-680 gtx by the end of the year but... the Phenom II x4 965 will bottlneck those video cards right?

This is a 2 year old system, and unfortunately it's AM3 no AM3+

Yeah, I would be doing along those lines, but I was checking and the 3450 wins against any AMD processors, speaking of gaming. GPU upgrade won't come until early december.

I wouldn't agree. How can out of two cards that are in just about the same price range and performance, be overpriced? Whether to get a 670 or a 7970 depends on personal preference, and the games that are going to get played.
