Can I stop my PC from installing the new driver?

Hey guys. This may seem like a bizarre request, but I want to stop my computer from installing the new NVIDIA graphics driver during shut-down. This is because the new driver stops my video editing software from working (for some reason) and I care way more about that than getting the updated driver. I don't want to have to bother with uninstalling/reinstalling software every time I need to work on a video.

I'm using Windows 7, 64-bit. My graphics card is the GeForce GTX 480. I hope this helps

is there a auto update setting in the NVidia software that you can disable?

I just had a look through the driver settings and yes there seems to be a tick box there to stop it from auto installing. Hopefully that helps! I don't know why this driver stops my video editing software from working, I hope they release a new driver that works. Thanks for your help
