To be honest, a GT610 is a pretty shabby GPU . I suggest at least going for a GTX 650 then you'll have some hope to play games at mid resolutions.

First and foremost what games do you plan on gaming and at what resolution?

A GT 610 is almost worse than Integrated graphics... Don't worry about 2GB, just get 1GB and you will need to play on low settings at 1280x720.

For that price, I cannot recommend the 610. You'll see better results with the Radeon 6670 or the 7750. They both have significantly better performance than the 610.

I've seen benchmarks where the Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics core beats the nVidia GT 610 in many games.

I would get the Radeon HD 6670 if you are on a really tight budget. Not great, but definitely better than what the GT 610 will give you. The Radeon HD 7750 is a very good performing card for less than $100. It's actually the best. The HD 6670 is cheaper, but also not as powerful. The Radeon HD 7750 is basically equal to a Radeon HD 6770 which is a big step up.

GT610 is very weak as other stated.

what is your price range? is it possible for you to spend a little more?

atleast then you will be able to get a GTX 650 or a HD 7750.

i see you are from india. you can get the sapphire 6670 ddr3 for rs.4500 only which is the best card for the price. i wouldnt recommend anything cheaper coz the performance will be too low.
this ia simply the best card for the price
