MoBo vs. Graphics Card.

I recently took out my graphics card and am currently running on my MoBo graphics. HD 3000 I think. and I noticed even still at 1920x1080p nothing is as sharp as when I had a video card in. Not games mind you, just icons on the desktop and words. Is this normal or should it not be affected?

No it's not normal for sure.

First, did you install drivers for the card? The card cannot operate without drivers.

Then, if that doesn't help, what cable connector are you using to connect the monitor to the motherboard?

So did you install drivers? I'd suggest to switch to a digital connector: DVI or HDMI. VGA can cause things like that.
