Hey everyone

So i'm building a PC,
using it essentially as a DLNA server, Media Center, Gaming, Video editing
and University AutoCad

let me know what you think ?

Case Thermaltake chaser mk-1
Processor: intel i7 3770k
PSU : Antec High Current Gaming 750w

(is this a good psu, my girlfriend got me it as a surprise gift ? will it handle two 660ti 's ? )

motherboard : Asus P877-v-deluxe
Ram: Hoping to put in 16GB fast ram
Graphics: Asus Nvidia 660ti OC 2GB
HDD 1: 7200rpm 1TB drive
HDD 2 : SSD Corsair 256GB
Optical: Bluray Writer drive
(writer so i can burn 3d movies form my sony handycam)

Motherboard Justification
["check the difference between the ASUS P8Z77V-pro and deluxe."]
yea i did have a look at the difference,
i'd thought i'd pay the extra to future proof, also cause theres a second ethernet port gigabit (deluxe) that will come in handy for my sony HD tv with DLNA ...
also the face that is has SUPERSPEED USB 3 and my thermal take .. case has SSUSB 3.0 port might as well utilize it ...

Need COOLER HELP DESPERATELY $70
So I plan on over clocking my CPU ...
so here's the coolers i've been looking at ...

1. Coolmaster EVO 212 (two fans i think)
2. Thermaltake FRIO OCK
3. Coolmaster v8 (would look sick in my case is it really good though ?)
4. Please give me your opinions on coolers that are good what about some of the corsairs and antec big water ?

also be cool if the cooler also cooled my over clocked ram (by some overhang) .. is that even possible ??

: Problem 1:
So I found out that in choosing a cpu cooler
i might hinder the space for my ram (extend onto the slots) (on the motherboard)
(now i dont mind spending round about $ 145 on good quality low profile FAST slim ram) ....

So please give me your opinions and what not ...

any advice much appreciated

thanks

i'm new here

ps: I have a big case .. however cpu cooler must not exceed 180mm

pps: I'm australian and i get all my parts from here, so please use this as reference (MSY COMPUTERS & PARTS)

For that amount of thing your planning to do with your new rig I´ll recommend you go for a Core i7 6700k and water cooling, something like corsair H45/H55 or similar, I recommend water cooling CPU specially if you are planning to make some OC.

For the RAM you will find some cooling solutions out there (heatsinks + fans) but not water solutions, if you want to water cool you rams you might need to make a custom water-cooling loop.
