AOL took over my IE icon with its own icon so I followed the directions here http://support.microsoft.com/defau [...] US;q176713
however the icon is still there it is just not animated anymore. Does anyone know how to get the IE default icon back. It is the icon in the upper right if anyone is confused as to what im referring to.

if you are using 5 or 5.5 load 6.0 and it will over ride aol

I can't remember but did you do the reg edit listed <A HREF="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=/search/viewDoc.aspx?docID=KC.Q176713&dialogID=4204254&iterationID=1&sessionID=anonymous|3736017" target="_new">here</A>?

Are you sure you deleted the strings in the reg key?
