  1. well you could get away with something like gtx650ti. The next step up would be the hd7850 and gtx660 or even 7870 (2gig models)...

your card is a little slower than the gts450 in this graph

  2. Hmm interesting
I was thinking of those cards you mentioned (GTX 650 Ti, 7850 and 7870)

I asked around and I could probably get:
The Asus 1GB GTX 650 Ti for about $150
The Gigabyte 2GB GTX 650 Ti for about $190
The Gigabyte 2GB HD 7850 for about $215
and The Asus 2GB HD 7870 for about $215 as well

    Suggestions?
  3. the hd 7870 is probably too powerful for 720p but if u can afford it, it wont be bad.
i mean: now it is an overkill but after 2-3 years it wont be, and if it is....
then after 4 years it DEFINATELY wont be.
and if u decide to buy an HD monitor in the future u wont have to buy a new graphics card.
    7870>7850>650 ti
it's your choice, if u can afford it go for the 7870.

Where would the 660 fit in there?

    yeah
    7870>660>7850>650 ti
like i said if u can, then go with 7870
or if u r sure u WILL play in 720p fo rmore than 2-3 years then going above 7850 is not great.
