I'm about to build my first system and I am a bit over-budget. Somewhere around $0-$500 (can go no higher than current price of $544.92).
This system is built to play one, and one game only, X-Plane. This is very important as it has finicky hardware requirements. Compatibility for these parts can be found here: http://www.x-plane.com/desktop/system-requirements/ and GPU requirements here: http://wiki.x-plane.com/X-Plane_10_Graphics_Card_Support these are some of the systems that they make for X-Plane: http://xforcepc.com/store/index.php/gaming-peripherals.html?p=1.

System specs are as follows

I think I will keep the SSD, MOBO (unless one that is better but about the same price pops up) ,and CPU. I am not partial to the RAM, Video Card, Case, Optical Drive or PSU.

I will not be using Windoze, But rather Ubuntu. I refuse to pay 100's of dollars more for an OS I don't need. I think I will be using Intel because they kill AMD's of the same price point in almost all of the benchmark tests I looked at.

Your help in the matter is greatly appreciated. Please do read the X-Plane requirements before thinking about what would be better. As I said this program is very peculiar about what it likes.

I havent had time to read all your links , but unless the game is very basic that graphics card is not suitable . Its definitely NOT going to play a 3D game with any detailed images , if it will run them at all .

The coolmax psu is also highly suspect .
Use only 80+ bronze or better rated psu's
