Nvidia stops responding after windows update

Hello,
I have dual monitors set up using Nvidia video cards.. now after windows updates the video card no longer works. I have reinstall ed the video card with no luck. I can roll back the windows updates and it will work fine.

Windows updates were set to automatic.. we have this same set up on 30 or so teacher computers with the nvidia cards and they all stopped working last weekend after windows updated. We have turned off windows updates for now. We also have the latest drives for the nvidia card.

In the optional updates there is and update from nvidia make sure it's not checked during the Windows update.

with that many users you may want to control those updates instead of just letting them free and download whatever and whenever. (Will help A LOT in the troubleshooting in the future).

Save yourself some hassle. WSUS.. Just a thought
