Hi, apologies if I'm posting this to the wrong area...I have been searching for a solution for days and don't know what to do. I have a HD Radeon 6670 card and with the rest of the specs I have; all benchmarks are telling me I should be able to play games like Alan Wake smoothly. However, they lag terribly, my fps is always under 20. The cpu never goes above 25% during games and I have everything updated and tried every resolution and every graphical setting but I still get lag and about the same fps. The rest of my spec is as follows;

Motherboard : Gigabyte 78LMT Motherboard Technology
CPU : AMD Bulldozer FX 4100 3.6ghz 8mb Cache
Hard Drive : 1tb Sata Hard Drive
Memory : 8gb DDR3 1666 Memory
Optical Drive : 24x Dual Layer Sata DVD Writer
Graphics Card : ATI Radeon 6670 2gb DDR3 with HDMI Hyper Memory Upto 3.8gb

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Motherboard : ASRock 880G Extreme3

Most likely it is your power supply, double so since it is a brand I do not recognize and under 500w.

on top of a weird amount of ram, download maxxmem2, I'm curious if it is even running in double channel mode?

scroll down for specifications.

Yeah, it's your power supply.

7850 needs 500w minimum power supply with a combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 24 Amps or greater.

That 400w power supply is rated 18 amps on the +12.
