    please help!

    Get a 7770, or a GTX 460

Also, if you have a Core 2 Duo in there, I suggest getting a Core 2 Quad Q6600, they're only 60$ on Ebay.
  3. Get the gtx 650 2gb super locked from compusa with free assassins creed 3 for $139.89.. It's so worth it, u will need to check compatibility tho

    Compusa is tigerdirect btw

thanks, right on the money about the duo. i only have the budget for the video card at the moment but i'll definitely look into upgrading my CPU soon. i was thinking upgrade my mobo first tho bc i can only run ddr2 and ddr3 is so much cheaper =x

thankyou for taking the time to answer my question
  6. I wouldn't expect a lot from BF3 multi with just a new card. I upgraded from a Core2 Duo 2.66 with a 6770 and it was super laggy set as low as it would go (at 1080). Attributed that more to the CPU than the GPU.

Let us know how it goes!

    780i/790i boards arent too expensive.

But, then again, 100 dollars on old gen motherboards isnt realy smart :pt1cable:

My Duo with a GTX460 256bit and 4GBs of DDR2 runs BF3 at 1080p medium high all day long, just gets alil hot.
  8. so i waited untill now to buy the 7770 you reccomended. got an extra 20% off. 112$ after the rebate thanks for your help gents
