Building first PC need help

Hey guys this is my first time building a computer and i dont have much experience
with the parts and what not so im just wondering if all my parts will work together or if you guys have any suggestions for the parts. I haven't chosen my Hard Drive, Optical drive or power supply so any suggestions for troughs parts would be great. These are the parts i have so far:

MOTHER BOARD:ASUS P8Z77-V LK

MEMORY: Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3K/8GX (2x4GB) DDR3

CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K

GRAPHICS CARD: Gigabyte GeForce GTX660 OC 2GB

CASE: Corsair Carbide 200R Compact ATX Case

Total: $765 au
my budget is around 900 dollars but i could stretch to 1000

1: get a decent Power supply. Something like Seasonic, xfx, ocz, corsair, antec ... not some no-name thqat will take your motherbd out when it dies. 450w would be enough. If you plan on overclocking your card and processor then get a 550w.

2: you have the unlocked k series processor so I assume you will be overclocking and hence will need a good cpu cooler. Don't forget it. You might want to get it along with everything else so you can install at least the bottom mounting plate before you install the motherbd in the case.
