I need advice

So, I am buying a graphics card soon and can't make up my mind. I have chosen 3 cards, but being my first computer build, I thought that the advice of Tom's Hardware would help me narrow it down. My options are:

EVGA GeForce GTX 670 Superclocked+ w/Backplate 4GB 256-bit Video Card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130785

EVGA GeForce GTX 680 w/ Backplate 4GB 256-bit Video Card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130799

AND, the EVGA GeForce GTX 680 FTW Standard, w/Backplate 4GB 256-bit Video Card - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130798

All of these cards have similar, or identical, specs but are all priced differently. I want the most performance for my money, so I came to you.

My computer will be for gaming, advance graphics programming, and will also be a render farm. I am spending about $2500 to $3000 total, so all other parts will support the power of the card. Thanks for your help in advance!

  1. what the he-double hockey still are you using this for that you need 4gb??? either way, the 680 is better and it seems like you have the money, so you don't have to worry too much about the bang for the buck. If you can push though, get a gtx 690, my dad has one and that is amazing.

get the $519.99 dollar 680 since the other one is the same thing for the most part, the only different is like .03 core clock difference, and you can just OC it yourself if you need to.
