I bought the 3570k from Microcenter for $169.99, and the RAM has a 10% discount code. A few questions I have are

1. Will I be able to do any overclocking on this rig? If so, how much?

2. I am also purchasing 2 120mm case fans in addition to the one provided with the case, where should I put them to get best cooling effect?

2. How long will this build last, I will be primarily playing games and some video editing, it becomes outdated to me when I can no longer play the most modern games at medium settings with >30 fps.

Looks good. You need to add a cooler for overclocking. Cooler Master 212 EVO. The case should have come with 2 fans (top and rear). I would buy a third fan just to have all the fan spaces filled (2 front - 1 side). The next generation of GPUs will be coming out soon, so you could just upgrade the GPU and continue on.

Unfortunately, the NZXT Source 210 only ships with one 120mm rear fan. Do you think it's worth using the Intel HD 4000 Graphics and wait until the Radeon HD 8xxx series comes out?

Oh, I see. You have the Source 210 Elite on the parts list but are only getting the Source 210. Why not get the Elite version for $10 more. It has front USB 3.0 support and 2 fans included.

Not to play games with. You might be able to play some on very low settings with the HD4000.
