Upgrading HP Pavilion p6710f

I am upgrading my prebuild computer - http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02628226&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=5049513#N196

These are the parts i have chosen.

Video card - http://www.amazon.com/Sapphire-Radeon-PCI-Express-Graphics-100323-2L/dp/B0086ZV2L2/ref=dp_ob_title_ce

RAM - http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-122435-RAM-Module-Unbuffered/dp/B003GJL5U6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I am upgrading my computer to play games like Skyrim or Team Fortress 2. Will the video card fit/work on my computer and will I need to upgrade my 250w psu? Thanks!

  1. Yes, it's compatible and will fit, but first you'll need to upgrade the PSU to 400w minimum as specified on the relevant Sapphire web page, under System Requirements here: http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1087&pid=1171&psn=&lid=1#.

Sapphire also recommends that the PSU be a certified one. They are listed here: http://support.amd.com/us/certified/power-supplies/Pages/listing.aspx
